Obama's flaw?

Well, since Irv decided not to write his article on the US election, I guess I will...

I find that although most of my values align closer to McCain (according to this site), but I am an Obama supporter. Mostly because the Republicans have had power for too long. You gotta go back and forth, otherwise it's no fun... and also 'coz McCain supports Bush, the Iraq war, and thinks that to be rich, you have to have $5million annual income :P

Obama has really amazed me in terms of how he connects to the people, and how he's utilized technology for his campaign. He - besides Ron Paul - is the hero of the nerds - until now. I have heard great things about Joe & Jill Biden, until this surfaces. Are the nerds going to change their allegiance? We'll see, I guess...

rainbows

when browsing my cellphone, I found several pictures that I took on August 9. I was working that day and it was raining heavily outside.
After dinner, I went outside for my "dessert" and the rain eventually stopped. What I found were two rainbows.
That day was the first time in my life to see two rainbows beside each other. It was so wonderful
I took some pictures of them (2.0 megapixels)






























seemed like the brighter rainbow reflected its colors into the other side of the sky. The sky between both rainbows was actually darker.

K... I am very happy with my marks this term... especially my Organic Chem II. I walked away with very decent mark despite my disastrous first assignment (I didn't realize I had an assignment due until the 11th hour). So... I decided I wanna get a new bag to celebrate,

my August

Somehow, I feel very unlucky this month.
many things just kept hitting on me like soldier shooting bazooka at me.
that's the thesis statement

here's the body paragraph
first, wallet down (a.k.a broke) at the beginning of the month
second, didn't get into the job I applied
third, academic standing fucked up
and many more..

I just didn't feel like this month is a part of my era...
many things went wrong at the same time
I think something is wrong
and definitely something must be not right
this is not my ERA!

at least, I learned something such as saving money and start grocery..
also learned how I should do better in future job interviews
for the academic, I still haven't figured it out
I got to do something about this one
damn, if only the determination is there
how to find it?
how I cling to life

My bank charged me a balance transfer interest which, after I confirmed with the customer representative, was apparently a mistake. I am a very cautious about these stuff, so I thought it might be a great idea to share this with you (especially if you are a kind of person who just pay whatever amount you think you are suppose to pay!). Sometimes the amount they charge you appears to be negligence, but hey, I am a student. I hate to waste my money like that!

This also reminds me how, when traveling, the cashier often gives me wrong changes. They might be a newbie so they don't know how to do their job properly. If that's the case - that's still OK with me. But you'll never know if they do it because they want to cheat the tourists!

I used to believe in a "just world". Now I don't. People do cheat, intentionally or unintentionally.

I will write down one special article about this word

Does it exist?
Is it a word?
Why can't find this word in any dictionary?

of course this word exists ! hahaha, I made this word *my masterpiece
The first word I created, and probably will never be written down in any dictionary...
but, as an optimistic guy, I will make this word becomes meaningful
as the first marking of my legacy

when I created this word, it actually had no meaning, it just came like "click!" into my mind.
but, something without meaning is just not beautiful; no existence, no marking, no legacy
yes, INDEED! anything without meaning is not delirious!
then, to acknowledge something from my past, I assigned the meaning into this word
not just to acknowledge, but also to make that something becomes exist, or ever existed at least

What if I say,
Ireove is a flower that never had a chance to bloom

?

then, Ireove must be a word containing a sad meaning
might be, could be
but, being sad would at least better than being nothing, is it not?
and also, there should be happiness and sadness working together in this life...

Olympic - Beijing

so, two days ago, I totally forgot about the Olympic opening ceremony. Then when me and Irvan were on our way home from Tim Horton (my usual basecamp), he told me that the Beijing Olympic started on that day. Then we rushed home and checked the TV and internet. We were 12 hours away from the show eventually.

I then started this plan inviting many people to my house but eventually we got four people coming. Hendry brought his Harvey's burgers and we made burgers and fries while watching the ceremony.

The ceremony itself was wonderful. I should praise the Chinese government and the event organizers of how they can organize thousands performers and able to turn the performance into "super-duper delirious". So many fireworks ! ! bleh, I should have gone there.

but I can't watch the ceremony to the end though, becoz I got an interview yesterday and worked at 12 yesterday. I thought that I might need to watch the replay later on TV or internet.
Then I went to work, before I got a chance to go to changeroom, David (the master of all potters) called me "hey, andrew (this guy would probably never understand how to pronounce my name the right way), come watch the olympic in the office". The show was near to the end I think, and I was so amazed with how the runner lighted up the torch. He ran and fly?






as the side story, this is my favourite mascot, Huan Huan.






another side story, I was writing this article when I realized that it is raining outside. Now, how can I go to work? should they just put the plates outside and let the rain wash them?

"delirious" site

Should I didn't wake up that day because of my friend's nudging me on msn, I wouldn't have known this website. The website is wicked, it contains several online mini games (which I think worth to play). It is so cool that I can play chess with any person (even though I kept losing T_T).

The website is called www.viwawa.com. Here, we can create our on "wawa" or supposedly "mascot". Everytime we play the games with other online players, we can gain experience and gold. The gold can be used to purchase new clothes for our "wawa". Also there are several other mini games such as:

The best game I ever found there is OF COURSE the "Big 2.5"
